Have you ever noticed how fragile the connection is between your inner and outer lives?

Paperwork, procedures, pressure, and a constant parade of challenges slowly separate who you are from what you do. Then suddenly – after years in the classroom, pulpit or boardroom – you realize that your relationship to your work has changed.

At one time or another, each of us has needed to rediscover who we are in connection with the work we do in the world. That is the purpose of Courage & Renewal – North Texas. During the past decade, more than 5,000 North Texans have used our one-day and extended retreats to rekindle their passion for work and the commitment to serve. Our offerings enable participants to work with greater integrity – and to live fuller and richer lives.

We offer Circles of Trust®, programs of personal and professional renewal developed by renowned writer, educator and speaker, Parker J. Palmer and the National Center for Courage & Renewal, the national organization of which Courage & Renewal – North Texas is a local affiliate.  Our programs are guided by facilitators who have been prepared by the national Center.

Courage & Renewal – North Texas is a 501©3 non profit organization and accepts Charitable Donations to further our work.

Renewing the Call- A One-Day opening retreat followed by 5 Two-Hour sessions.  One-Day opening to be held August 28, 2012 and Two-Hour sessions to be held September 11, October 2, 16, 30 and November 13 and 27.

Sustaining the Call- A One-Day Courage and Renewal Retreat for Clergy & Congregational Leaders to be held September 18, 2012.

First Five:  Thriving or Surviving-
A Courage to Lead Series ® for Ministers in their first five years of service.  The series includes two Residential Retreats and three One-Day retreats to be held September 24-26, 2012; January 15, 2013; April 8, 2013; July 9, 2013 and January 13-14, 2013.

Courage in the Workplace- A renewal program offering for your workplace, school, church or organization. We offer on-site or off-site renewal opportunities custom crafted to meet particular needs of a work-team.
